36 inch Prefinished Clear Natural Red Oak Landing Tread

Q:I am interested in ordering the pre finished red oak natural Retro Stair Treads closed 36 inch to update our formerly carpeted basement stairs. At the top of the steps there is a landing which I plan to cover with sheet vinyl. How do I finish the top step to transition to the relatively flat vinyl surface on the landing? I see the matching landing tread you can use with the stair treads but it is 3/4" thick and I would have to use some type of reducer on the groove end for the transition. I don't think this would look good. Do you have some other moulding that I could use to cover the top of the first step that meets the landing?

Q:Are the steps available in Walnut? I am looking to install 2 enclosed steps 36" wide to accomidate about a 9 1/2" rise. Is this something that you can fabricate for me?
