  1. Q:I need a tread with a bull nose to go in a doorway that steps down,. Do I need a landing tread or just a stair tread? I am transitioning from a wood floor to a tile floor.
    A:The landing tread and retro tread are the same shape and dimensions except for the width. The landing tread is 5-1/4" overall and the retro tread is a full 11-1/2" wide.
