A 60-inch retro tread for wider staircases- the same 30–45 minute install, just a longer run. Dusk is WoodStairCo's deepest, boldest prefinished stain- a rich espresso-brown that photographs dark but shows grain depth in natural light. If you want a staircase that reads as a design statement rather than a background element, Dusk delivers.

The 60-inch length fits staircases in larger single-family homes, open-plan layouts, and custom builds where standard 42-inch treads are too narrow. Factory finished and ready to install over your existing steps- no demo, no sanding, no staining on-site.

INSTALLATION NOTE

Apply Loctite PL Premium adhesive in S-curves across the full 60-inch back. Use more brad nail points across the longer run- every 6 inches along both the nosing and back edge. 45–60 min for a 60-inch tread. Allow 24 hours before foot traffic.

STAIN / FINISH TIP

Dusk is a dark stain- standard touch-up kits in dark walnut or espresso shade work well for cut ends. For a precise match, use our Finish Touch Up Marker ($11.19) in the darkest available shade
